The School Accountability Report Card (SARC) is updated yearly in February.  This is a legal requirement by the State of California.  The SARC provides a detailed report regarding each school about class size, demographics, test scores, climate and more. The reports are published in the current year for the previous year.

The Elementary Math Pilot Steering Committee met in early October with each publisher to gain a deeper understanding of each program before making a collective decision on the programs that will be piloted in the coming months. The committee selected the following programs to pilot:


K-5 Pilot Programs:

  • Bridges in Mathematics by The Math Learning Center
  • Go Math by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt  

6th Grade Pilot Programs:

  • Eureka Math by Great Minds
  • Digits by Pearson

El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Newport-Mesa está en el proceso de evaluación de currículo de matemáticas para la primaria y estará comenzando programas de matemáticas viables, alineados con las directrices de la Junta Estatal de Educación para libros de texto y materiales de instrucción viables. El Comité Directivo de Matemáticas para la Primaria se reunió a principios de octubre con cada editor para obtener una comprensión más profunda de cada programa antes de tomar una decisión colectiva sobre los programas que serán piloteados en los próximos meses. El Comité seleccionó los siguientes programas viables:

NMUSD is pleased to announce the launch of its district-wide school mobile application. This application is free and provides mobile access to news, school notifications, school calendars, food service, student information (with secure login), and other resources that can be helpful to you, specific to your student’s school. The application is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.  


If you are a parent, you should have received an email with your login ID, temporary password, and instructions on how to download the application. If you have not received this email you should log in to your parent account or visit your student’s school to update your information.
